What Is Ventilation?
Ventilation is the movement of air, either input or extract, to ensure that
enclosed staffed areas are not hazardous to health and that areas where fumes
and dust are produced are ventilated with pollutants being extracted.

Why Have Ventilation?
Ventilation is now mandatory for many occupied areas or industrial processes,
and this must be regulated, filtered, heated or cooled and supplied to, or
extracted from an area at the correct rate, temperature and noise level.
For new or upgraded buildings,
H.S.E. & Building Control will require
ventilation to be included to strict minimum guidelines to satisfy the
requirements of staff health.
